Don't wait for perfection to move forward. Learn as you go and keep pushing ahead. No one is an expert at the beginning. Expertise comes from making mistakes, learning, adapting, and pushing forward even when things aren't perfect.

A couple years ago I made a simple mental shift that has kept me motivated to work out every day. I realized that it is more enjoyable to start a quick & simple exercise routine than to beat myself up for not doing it. Once again, action beats thinking.

Goals - part 5 - Believe
Believe in your Goals. Believe in Yourself. Now that your Goals are set, believe you'll achieve them and take Action daily toward them. I BELIEVE in YOU! You can do it if you Believe you can!
Goals - part 4 - Visualize
Once you've chosen your focus points for the new year, visualize them with crystal clarity. Imagine them coming true in your life. This is fun because it involves some daydreaming. I like visualizing the realization my goals as I fall asleep. Mentally, it's more healthy than falling asleep to TV.

Have you selected your focus points for the year? Choose your 3 categories for improvement. For me it's health, business, and relationships. Define your categories today and then we'll get to the specifics.

SG Episode 179 - I'll Be Happy When...
"I'll be happy when..." is a myth. If we're always waiting for something to be happy then it will always be a step away. Don't procrastinate happiness. Be happy now. (If you want to procrastinate something, procrastinate worrying.)
